KDE Plasma is one of the finest desktop environment in Fedora. There are lot of new features and optimisation going in every release. The recent version is KDE Plasma 5.17.2
Installing KDE Plasma 5.17
Installation of KDE Plasma is a straightforward process. But lets confirm some few things before proceed to the installation.
# dnf grouplist -v
Available Environment Groups:

Minimal Install (minimal-environment)

Fedora Workstation (workstation-product-environment)
Fedora Cloud Server (cloud-server-environment)

In the above results there are many desktop-environments are available to install. But only gnome-desktop is only installed on Fedora 31.
Now I am going to proceed with kde-desktop-environment. You can follow the similar command to install any other famous desktop-environments like xfce, mate, etc.
# sudo dnf install @kde-desktop-environment
You can use the same command in alternate way
# sudo dnf group install kde-desktop-environment
Upon confirming the above command your installation will starts. Remember that the downloaded size is 331Mb and it will occupy Installed size of 1.1 Gb.
Started Using KDE
Once the installation is done, you must restart the computer. In the login screen you will see a Gear Icon. Upon clicking that icon you can switch to KDE Plasma desktop and enjoy the full features.
And anytime you can switch back to Gnome desktop environment using the same Gear Icon in the login screen.
